We Salute our Troops

In Memory of Pearl Harbor Day yesterday,
Jeff's Army Unit was a part of a "We Salute our Troops" event.

The entire States National Guard Members were there.

After the National Anthem was preformed,
there was a fly over of two F-16s
(WHICH WAS SO COOL TO SEE!!)
The Elected Governor gave a speech and there were videos of Pearl Harbor footage.
They individually addressed veterans in the stand from
WWII
Vietnam War
Korean War
Desert Storm
Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.

They addressed a group of family members of men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
The Gold Star family members.

It was really touching to see this event.

At the end of the speech, there was a fair.
They had so many of the vehicles that are used in battle
(somehow I forgot to take pictures of those)

Humvees
Apache Helicopters
And many more!

Such a great way to spend the morning!

On the way to the stadium Cooper started doing the funniest/cutest thing ever! I was smiling so much in the car.
We have to drive on mostly freeway every time we leave our house, so we always see trucks.

Cooper has been yelling "Buck" and pointing at trucks every time we see them since Yaya showed him them when we were driving to the state fair a while ago.
Now, he added a new part!

He yells "buck" and points at the truck when we are behind the truck,
and when we start to pass the truck, he yells, "bye-ee" and waves then moves on to the next point and yell!
SO STINKIN' CUTE!
