Independence Day

So much has changed in 1 year.
4th of July last year, I spent with a 5 month old little boy.
He was smiling from ear to ear in the pool wearing his American Hat.
But we were missing Daddy a ton.
It had been 3 months into the Overseas part of the deployment.
We had started to figure out how to manage our day to days without a crucial 1/3 of our little family.
All while dealing with an 11.5 hour time zone difference.

This year,
that 1/3 of our little family was home and we were complete.
We celebrated our Independence with dud sparklers,
family,
wonderful friends,
and incredible memories.

I am so thankful to have been able to spend this 4th of July with the Hubby and our son.
Nothing beats spending time as a family.

4th of July 2013. Cooper was just 5 months old.

4th of July 2014. Cooper is 17 months.

The 1 sparkler that worked out of the entire package.
