Family Adventures

Gift cards are the best!
They allow you to enjoy dates, family fun times, and buy things without feeling guilty, or when you are on a budget!

We dug through our pile of gift cards,
(we still have quite a few from Christmas, but we are working at using them! )
And found a Build-a-Bear gift card!
So yesterday we went on a family adventure to make Cooper a stuffed animal!
As soon as we walked in, Cooper was so excited!
We walked along the wall of choices.
Cooper giggled at some animals, he played with the bulldog for a little bit, he smiled and practically leapt out of Jeff's arms when he saw the ponys.
We had many options and it came down to two:
A Spider-Man teddy bear that Cooper was really excited about, and Olaf from Frozen which made him squeal of happiness when he saw it.
We held out both stuffed display "bears" and asked Cooper which one he wanted.

Olaf it is!

So we proceed down the line with our unstuffed Olaf, and stop at the stuffing station.
Of course Olaf has to sing "In Summer",  so we added the sound box to his foot and began the stuffing process which cooper was not too sure about.

Before he was fully stuffed, we had to choose a heart to add.
Cooper was just a little too short to reach into the container, so we had to pick one and he took it from our hands.
The heart was added and Olaf was officially stuffed!
Now on to the shower area!
Daddy and Cooper had some fun giving Olaf his bath.
When cooper turned to the wall of clothes, the first things he saw were the Buzz and Woody costumes for the bears and he went running for the wall screaming "Woo-ey!"

When we coaxed him away from the costumes we found our way to the computer station to fill out the certificate for Olaf.

We were super original in choosing a name.
That would be "Olaf" ;)

At this point I was attempting to take a few pictures of cooper with Olaf (who is almost the size of Cooper by the way!).
Cooper was more interested in the cell phones and basketballs meant for the bears.
One associate came to my aide and tried to get Cooper to smile, which actually made him more perplexed and less photogenic, but who cares.

After we finished with the certificate, Jeff took Cooper outside to the little merry-go-round while I paid.

Cooper wasn't happy or sad when riding the merry-go-round. It was kind of funny.
Mid ride we switched him from the dog car to the train car.
He had more fun on that because he was able to spin the wheel!

After the "train" ride, we were all starving.
We hadn't been to Olive Garden in a while, so we decided to go there!

Their kids menu is the best! It has tons of stickers!
Daddy made the ametuer move of showing Cooper they were stickers, and Cooper's shirt was filled with stickers in no time. Each sticker consisted of, "pease" and a point, which dad then peeled from the paper and handed to Cooper, then Cooper stuck them haphazardly on his clothing.

We had so much fun on our adventure!
So much so that little man passed out on the way home!

Confused as to why a strange man is making faces at me...
