BRUMKINS WEDDING!!!!!

One of my best friends got married in March and her wedding was just perfect!
I'm so happy for her and her husband after all these years!
They started dating 6 days before Jeff and I, and we both actually were the ones to help get our, now husbands, to ask us out. How crazy is that??

Anyway,
CONGRATULATIONS Mr. and Mrs. Brumby!

Best day ever!

Last week we received the best news!

Ok, so it may not have been the best day ever, but it was pretty exciting day!!

We were approved to get a smaller more portable pump for Cooper!!

Heck yes!!

The pump they gave us out of the hospital was heavy and bulky, and the backpack literally was the entire length of Cooper's torso, plus some.
It was beyond huge for him, which made feedings more difficult.
He had to be sitting in his high chair for an hour 2-4 times a day depending on what he drank orally. Or if we were out running errands or at doctors appointments, mom or dad wore the backpack and cooper was attached and had to stay right next to us.
There were some strange looks from people for that.
It almost looked like he was on a leash, but it was connected to his belly.

I'm not kidding, this bag was huge on him and he wasn't able to have mobility when he was getting a feed. Which is a NIGHTMARE with a 2 year old. He gets ancy or otherwise winds up watching hours of TV a day.

Well we now have a pump and a backpack that together weighs about 2 lbs and it fits!!!!
He can walk around with it!
WE HAVE MOBILITY!!
Now Cooper can play and do whatever he wants while he is getting a tube feed!!

YESSSSSS!!!!

He is still getting used to it, but this new pump and backpack are going to make it so much easier during feeds!

Plus, he looks ADORABLE with his mini backpack :)

Mama's Day

Happy Mama's Day to all you Mama's out there!

I have had a wonderful Mama's day so far!
Jeff is at work, but I had my mom and dad, mother in law, sister in law and brother in low over for a Mother's Day brunch!

I am so fortunate to have an incredible mom and the best mother in law!
I love getting to spend time with family, so a brunch was the perfect way to celebrate today!
I wish Jeff was able to be there for more of it!

I hope everyone spoils their Mamas today!

Anma's and Yaya's cards

Best mimosa's ever = Trader Joe's Tangerine Juice and Blush champagne

Presents from my mother in law. I love girly little treasures!

CANNOT wait to drink these!!

Beautiful flowers from my mama!
And I am kind of obsessing over my handmade festive place mats! I wish I could use them all year!

30 Years

In a day where people walk away from marriages more often than they stay,
I am so fortunate that my parents stayed together through it all.
Today they celebrate 30 years of marriage.

I have been able to have such a strong example of what true love is growing up.
It had an incredible influence on my life and especially on my own relationship with Jeff.

I have learned how to stand by Jeff in every decision.
How to be supportive.
Yet, also how to stand my ground on things if they are important to me.
I have learned how to be a loving and caring wife,
And how I deserve to be treated by the man that is my husband.

I know how to be a caring mother,
And what to expect of a caring father for my child.

I know what to hope for, for my future because of them.

30 years of marriage is an incredible accomplishment.
Congratulations Mama and Daddy.
I love you.
Thank you for giving me such an incredible example to look and live up to.

"May the 4th be with you" in the rest of your incredible life together!
